LibreOffice 5.0.6 Office Suite is Now Available For Download

The Document Foundation responsible for the free and open source office suite LibreOffice has announced today a version for the 5 branch of the software which is optimised for huge cooperation and educational institutions like large universities is receiving a long-awaited upgrade.

The Document Foundation said it created this version of the Office suite software to help large entities save money on software office products as LibreOffice offers a wide range of tools and mechanics for free with the same features offered on proprietary software at a huge cost.

The release version 5.0.6 will be the sixth installment of the Long Term Supported stable maintenance version of the software and it promises a boot load of features.

“The Document Foundation suggests deploying LibreOffice 5.0.6 on a large scale only when backed by professional level 3 support from certified developers,” said Italo Vignoli. “When migrating to LibreOffice from proprietary office suites, organisations should seek professional support from certified migration consultants and trainers, which are listed on the same webpage.”
