KDE Application 16.04.3 is Out With Improved New Features
KDE is looking to upgrade its entire gallery of KDE software after the development team release a new maintenance build for the KDE Plasma desktop environment yesterday, the team is moving to the KDE application software suite.
The new version of KDE applications which is numbered 16.04.3 has arrived with remedies for over twenty bugs reported in the previous release last month. The new releases promise to bring improvements to various KDE applications that are usually shipped by default with every new installation image of the KDE Plasma 5 desktop environment.
Some of the apps that are featured in the entire software package were able to receive improvements through KDE Applications 16.04.3 including the KDE PIM which is a personal information manager, Umbrello IDE or Integrated Development Environment for short, Kate Text editor, Ark archive manager ad cantor scientific statistics and analysis tool.
The update also brings KDE Development Platform 4.14.22.
“This release contains only bugfixes and translation updates, providing a safe and pleasant update for everyone. More than 20 recorded bugfixes include improvements to the ark, cantor, kate. KDE PIM, umbrello, among others. This release also includes Long Term Support version of KDE Development Platform 4.14.22.” stated a post on the official website.

Since KDE application version 16.04 is closing the loop on its lifespan, the team will be looking to focus all their attention on creating new features as well as attending to bug reports on the next release.
