This great news comes as a result of the hard work done by Steam and GOG.com, among other such portals which are delivering more and more Linux games each day.

Feral Interactive is a good example of companies that port popular games to both Linux and Mac OSand they teased their fans with a big announcement on the 16th of February. This lead to many speculations one of which was a discussion held in the Linux Users Group on Facebook where some readers were hoping that the game to come was GTA 5.

Sadly, it’s not GTA 5 – that will be one hell of an announcement. What Feral Interactive is bringing to Linux and Mac OS later this year is Deus Ex: Mankind Divided.

They put up a message on their website saying:

“Deus Ex: Mankind Divided is coming to Mac using Apple’s Metal graphics API, delivering Deus Ex onto the OS in spectacularly polished form. Linux is in on the action too as the series comes to the platform for the first time ever.”

Deus Ex: Mankind Divided is the sixth games in the Deus Ex games series which are all set in a futuristic, cyberpunk society. To know the game’s storyline you can watch the trailer for Deus Ex: Mankind Divided below.
