See The Release Date For The GNOME 3.24
If GNOME’s development goes according to plan then the GNOME 3.24 is will be released on the 22nd of March, 2017.
It will be the next major stable release since that of the GNOME 3.22 in September.
The date was announced by Andre Klapper on the GNOME developer mailing list in keeping with previous spring releases of the GNOME desktop.
A lot of GNOME apps are already sharing plans for the GNOME 3.24 cycle and among them is the team of developers behind GNOME Calendar who recently outlined a badge of improvements they look forward to implement.
GNOME 3.24.1 will follow the release of GNOME 3.24 a couple of weeks after.
GNOME 3.24 Release Schedule
The development cycle for GNOME 3.24 will kick off with the launch of the first development milestone, GNOME 3.23.1, on the 26th of October, 2016.
GNOME 3.23.2 is will follow on the 23rd of November 23 GNOME 3.23.3 on the 14th of December, and GNOME 3.23.4 on the 18th of January, 2017.

- GNOME 3.23.3 – December 14, 2016
- GNOME 3.23.4 – January 18, 2017
Other release dates include:
- GNOME 3.23 Beta 1 – February 15, 2017
- GNOME 3.23 Beta 2 – March 1, 2017
- GNOME 3.23 RC – March 15, 2017
The final stable release date is tentatively pencilled in for:
- GNOME 3.24 Stable – March 22, 2017
This release will be followed by the first point release, the GNOME 3.22.1, on the 12th of October, 2016.
