Create Quick Timers with Tea Time for Ubuntu

tea-timer-for-ubuntu

Tea Time is a simple free and open source timer app built in with Python with which you can quickly create, start and stop short-timers with a countdown that can be set to any duration.

Its applet stays at the top-right of your screen waiting to either be called upon or to display a notification. From it you can create new timers with a name and a duration all in no time.

When you are set, run the timer by highlighting it inside the app window and clicking the Start Timer button. The app will minimize to the launcher while displaying a progress bar to indicate the elapsed time on the app launcher’s icon.

When the timer ends, you will hear a bell sound effect along with a native desktop notification.
