Peruse Comic Book Reader for Linux
Peruse Comic Book Reader is a desktop app that makes reading comics on a computer “as easy and pleasant as possible”.
When you first open the app it greets you at the welcome page and switches to show a list of the recently read comics with a progress bar next to them to show how into the book you had gotten. Open any of the books and continue from where you left up without worries.

Usage:
Browse through your library using sorting options: title, author, series, or recently added.

Peruse is free and Open Source and can run on a wide range of Linux distributions thanks to its OBS repository and will therefore run without issues on any modern Linux desktop.
